" It has almost taken us 3 years to develop these cranks but I think it was worth it. The arms have this design with that plate to prevent straight bending, while the rounded shape prevents torsion. The one bolt axle system makes a more accurate assembly because it doesn't allow the arms to move from side to side while mounting. Also saves weight. The tolerance between spindle and arm is made in a way that you can mount it without smashing them with a hammer. Just some slight hits and they are on. The spindle is internally machined with the material where you need it so all the set is really light. Finally, the bolt has a personal design that we think is nice and functional. "
