Fly Rim

"For many years now, we've been drilling these holes on our rims. We realised that your really feel the rotation weight that you save and that the strength kept the same. That was the first feature we thought about our rims. Then we came up with the idea of using a cross lacing where the spokes go from one side of the rim to the opposite flange of the hub. This increases the strength of the wheel and allows you to have the spokes not so tight. We made the section in a way to make it light but strong. Basically we used different thicknesses with the material where you need it. For example, a really thick section where the tube is sitting. That prevents dents so much. The edges are rounded to prevent flats and we made a machined sidewall that makes brakes work great even with coloured anodise."
